Terms and Conditions

1. Description of Service

Unison allows multiple nearby devices to connect via local network using Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework in order to coordinate video recording and media transfer. Devices may assume different roles (such as Master or Node) depending on the workflow.

2. Local Usage and Data

Unison operates entirely on local devices and local networks. No user accounts, authentication systems, or external servers are used.

The App may store a list of trusted devices locally on your device to avoid repeated authorization requests. This list can be reset at any time from the App settings.

3. Media Recording and Transfer

Depending on the assigned role, the App may record video and transfer media files between connected devices. All media transfers occur directly between devices within the local network.

The developer does not access, collect, or store any recorded media.

4. Permissions

Unison may request access to device features such as camera, microphone, local network, and media library in order to provide its functionality. You are responsible for granting and managing these permissions through your device settings.

5. No Payments or Subscriptions

Unison is provided free of charge. The App does not include subscriptions, in-app purchases, or payment systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The developer is not responsible for data loss, failed recordings, interrupted transfers, or any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

7. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. External Services

Unison relies on Apple system frameworks such as Multipeer Connectivity, AVFoundation, and local networking services. Their behavior is governed by Apple’s policies:
